QUALIFICATION:

EXPERIENCE:
- 10 -15 Years
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning & Execution
- Execute civil works including renovation, expansion, remodeling, and infrastructure upgrades within hospital buildings.
- Study drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications before project initiation.
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, and manpower deployment plans.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, and contractors for smooth execution.
- Ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations during project work.
Site Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day civil activities such as:
- Masonry, plastering, flooring, tiling
- Waterproofing and structural repairs
- False ceilings, partitions, and finishing works
- Minor structural modifications
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and quality standards.
- Monitor workmanship and material usage on site.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Supervise contractors, sub-contractors, and labour teams.
- Verify contractor bills and measurements before submission for approval.
- Ensure contractors follow hospital safety and hygiene protocols.
- Monitor contractor performance and adherence to timelines.
Quality Control
- Conduct quality checks at every stage of work.
- Ensure use of approved materials only.
- Inspect works such as:
- Surface finishing
- Waterproofing
- Structural integrity
- Flooring alignment and levels
- Maintain quality documentation and checklists.
Hospital-Specific Compliance
- Ensure construction activities comply with:
- Infection control norms
- Fire safety guidelines
- Hospital safety standards
- Coordinate with biomedical, electrical, and HVAC teams to avoid service interruptions.
- Ensure dust control, noise control, and proper barricading during works.
- Knowledge of NABH/JCI compliance guidelines
Budget & Material Management
- Track material consumption and prevent wastage.
- Assist in preparing BOQs and cost estimates.
- Maintain records of materials received and utilized.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
Liaisoning, Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily site progress reports.
- Liaisoning with government and statutory authorities, PMC, etc.
- Prepare measurement sheets and work completion reports.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and approvals.
- IT/Technical Knowledge: AutoCAD, Building Information Systems
- Submit weekly progress updates to the reporting manager.
Safety Management
- Ensure use of PPE by workers.
- Monitor safe handling of tools, scaffolding, and materials.
- Report and prevent unsafe practices on site.
Any other work/responsibility assigned by the HOD/Management in the course of business/work whether within the same unit/dept or any other unit/dept from time to time
