QUALIFICATION:

BHMS / BAMS / MBBS / MBA – Hospital Administration

EXPERIENCE:

  • 12 – 15 Years hospital management experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and hospital administration in Indian context

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Operational Leadership

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of clinical services, nursing, diagnostics, patient care services, facility management, support services, and administration.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of patient admission, discharge, and overall care pathways minimizing patient waiting times and maximizing operational throughput.
  • Drive adherence to hospital policies, operational protocols, and SOPs.

Quality & Patient Experience

  • Work closely with the quality department to maintain high standards in patient care, safety, and service quality.
  • Implement patient experience programs, grievance redressal mechanisms, and continuous feedback systems to improve patient satisfaction.
  • Monitor key quality indicators (KPI) including patient satisfaction scores, infection rates, TAT and response times.

Business Development

  • Work closely with relevant departments to come up with strategies and innovative ideas to expand patient outreach and increase footfall
  • Engage with external stakeholders to develop strategic partnerships

Resource Management

  • Optimize resource utilization across departments ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising patient care.
  • Collaborate with department heads for workforce planning, productivity tracking, and process improvements.

Financial Responsibility

  • Support the CEO and CFO in achieving financial targets by ensuring operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Monitor department-wise budgets, reduce wastage, and improve operational cost-efficiency.
  • Work with the CEO and CFO on annual budgeting exercise

Compliance & Accreditation

  • Ensure hospital-wide compliance with statutory regulations, hospital licensing requirements, and accreditation standards
  • Prepare the hospital for internal & external audits, accreditation inspections, and regulatory reviews.

People Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor mid-management teams including department managers, nursing supervisors, and operational staff.
  • Promote teamwork, professional development, and performance accountability.

Technology & Process Improvement

  • Drive digital adoption and hospital information systems for operational efficiency.
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives throughout the hospital wherever applicable

Strategic Initiatives Support

  • Assist the CEO in executing strategic growth plans, service line expansions, and infrastructure projects.
  • Play a key role in marketing activities, community outreach programs, and patient acquisition strategies.

Any other work/responsibility assigned by the HOD/Management in the course of business/work whether within the same unit/dept or any other unit/dept from time to time
