QUALIFICATION:
- HSC/ Graduation in any field
- CSSD Technicians Course
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 to 5 years
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To check the working of autoclave machine and if there is any problem in the machine, to give an online complaint to the maintenance dept
- To check instruments, dressing tray and all other material routinely required.
- Take round with night technician or OT Staff to check the availability of various trays
- To clean OT instruments & arranging tray
- Labeling of drums.
- Putting dates on drum and tray
- Sending drums and trolleys / tray to the OT
- Helping the staff in trolley room / OT for arranging instruments
- Keeping a detailed record of the sterile material in the register
- Sending weekly samples as per the hospital infection control program
- Preparing the ETO Packs and sending to OT
- Maintain inward and outward register of ETO Material
- Taking and Preparing Linen and Sponges drum for autoclaving
- Helping in OT whenever cases in OT / COT
- Daily checking and cleaning all autoclave machines
- Receiving linen and doctor’s clothes from laundry vendor & arrange them accordingly
- Keeping required record of autoclave for OT
- Daily checking of expiry dates of all packs, drums
- Ensure autoclave indicator for sterilization
- Keeping and maintaining all stock required for autoclave
- Any other work/responsibility assigned by the HOD/Management in the course of business/work whether within the same unit/dept or any other unit/dept from time to time
