General Manager – HR

QUALIFICATION:

  • MBA – HR / PGDHRM / MPM
  • DLL & LW will be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE:

  • 12 – 15 years
  • Hospital experience preferred

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement the hospital’s Human Resources strategy in alignment with the organisation’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
  • Partner with the CEO / COO, senior leadership, and department heads to provide strategic HR support on workforce planning, organisational development, succession planning, and change management.
  • Lead and oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Ensure optimum manpower planning and utilisation by aligning staffing requirements with organisational priorities, service demands, productivity benchmarks, and quality standards.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by driving performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, and capability-building initiatives across the organisation.
  • Establish and maintain positive employee relations by effectively managing grievances, disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, and promoting a fair and respectful workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, organisational policies, and NABH accreditation standards related to Human Resources.
  • Lead the implementation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of HR systems, digital initiatives, and HR analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and standard operating practices to ensure effective governance and operational excellence.
  • Monitor HR metrics and key performance indicators, analyse workforce trends, and present actionable insights to support organisational decision-making.
  • Prepare and manage the Human Resources budget, optimise workforce costs, and ensure efficient utilisation of departmental resources.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, educational institutions, recruitment partners, regulatory authorities, and other external agencies to support organisational objectives.
  • Promote a culture of ethics, integrity, diversity, inclusion, continuous improvement, and patient-centric service excellence throughout the organisation.
  • Any other work/responsibility assigned by the HOD / Management in the course of business / work whether within the same unit/dept or any other unit / dept from time to time
