Job Description:
1. To function as a Senior Resident in the Department of Surgery at a busy tertiary care hospital.
2. Rounds of Surgical patients in the hospital
3. Follow up on reports and communicate with the Consultants
4. Assist in surgeries and follow-up patients postoperatively
5. Attend to surgical emergencies in EMD
6. Work with the Unit head and other SRs to draw up an Academic and teaching program
7. Ensure that those working under you are mentored and guided regarding patients to ensure quality care is provided
8. Rotational Sunday/ holiday duties with compensatory off.
