The Gastroenterology Unit at KEM Hospital, Pune is equipped with facilities for endoscopic
diagnoses and advanced therapeutic interventions with state-of-the-art technology. We have
two endoscopy suites that run simultaneously.
Advanced anaesthesia equipment makes it possible to induce conscious sedation. An
independent dedicated C-Arm machine allows for procedures that need X-ray imaging. The
patient recovery room has ICU beds with the requisite equipment. In this era of minimal access
interventions, GI endoscopy has a big role in healthcare.
