The Unit of Neuro Surgery at KEM Hospital, Pune began in 1970. Our unit provides state-of-the art neurosurgery services for patients with disorders of the brain, spine and peripheral nerve pathways, and for patients with traumatic skull, brain and spinal cord injuries.

We work collaboratively with neurologists, pain management specialists, and nurses to manage the complex care of neurosurgery patients. Our consultants also teach the resident doctors and nurses during ward rounds and operative sessions.
